Enterprise Search for complex technical disciplines remains a major challenge. The tools that work so well in web search - social clues, inbound links, and similar - simply don't exist inside the enterprise. Making it more difficult is the fact that user searches often fail to include synonyms, brand names, and other word variations. Yet traditional approaches - building and maintaining taxonomies or annotating large training sets for machine learning - are costly and don't scale. The Agolo correlation service uses an unsupervised approach to identify and analyze implicit relationships among terms inside a set of content. The resulting relationship graph can be used for query expansion and complex search.
This discussion will showcase customer examples and explore the benefits of this approach.
